Having watched Win Cash Live for the past couple of nights, I've noticed a few things.
Firstly, Win Cash Live
is
gambling. Either it's Andy Hodgson's new catchphrase or it's a legal thing. Secondly, I am glad to see Andy Hodgson back on TV. Thirdly, that watching in these early days makes for quite dry viewing, unless you start tweeting in (though, I have to say, he seems to have relaxed the rigidity of the format a bit).
It does get a bit repetitive with Spin Cash Live and Win Cash Dice - The Race sounds a bit more interesting, and they were calling for suggestions for new games, so hopefully it starts to expand a bit.
Sorry for the double post, but it appears that the Win Cash Live website is down. If only I hadn't withdrawn my money last night, they might have been able to pay the hosting bill.*
*It is entirely possible this is not why the site is down
I feel they've dumbed gambling down a little bit
too
much. It's very flat, there's absolutely no excitement or draw. Specially not for a bounty of £1.53 / £2 / £5.
It's not great. The fact that they don't use real dice so it's easy for them to fix, for the potential to just win £1.53 is completely dire.
And why would you place pointless bets on outcomes on TV that won't happen for many weeks yet?
This won't last long.
Indeed just seen one person win... but they only won £1.26, they restricted the other 27p because she played online and not on the phone. I would feel cheated.

They regularly advertise the fact they use a random number generator that has been approved by the Gambling Commission. The same sort as used by the National Lottery, one presumes.
EDIT: If you want to win the same as you see on screen, you have to bet £1.20. The £1.53 call is a stake of £1.20 - the rest is VAT and operator charges,
Phone entries are counted as £1.20, not £1.53. The person online probably bet £1, as opposed to the £1.20 the phone entry affords you.
Keep in mind this has only been on air since Friday; bid-up.tv in its early days was dire too. I'm sure there will be many tweaks to come; and if all else fails - I have my money on Roulette making an appearance.

Ugh I really hope it doesn't. I suppose people continually bet that Bid would end up being a fixed price channel like the rest, and while they were right, it took 13 years for that to happen.
