They weren't even covering the expense of a single presenter - it was pure loss - and after several months too.
When they convert to "web only" presenter streaming - it's a clear way to drastically reduce costs. It wouldn't surprise me if they lost the majority (or all of) the <Z list presenters, and ended up with a couple of completely "unknowns" -- anyone recall the travesty that was QuizChannel.com?
I don't remember that, but I do remember QuizMania attempting an online-only edition, which didn't last long.
