Bias (sic) News Reporting

I had written a long response but Asa closed the thread before it could be posted

Briefly, then, summing up what I had written:

1) As Asa said, how can it be biased if it presents both sides? BBC News is watched the world over by people who don't necessarily hold the same view as you or I.

2) But I agree partly with what you said - why was no response shown from the other side?

3) Finally Jamez, why do you always try to 'insult' people by calling them gay?

P.S. sorry Asa you probably won't like me continuing this but it deserves to be discussed, free speech and all

Actually I mean why go back to this gay obsession and treat it like an insult when to most people it isn't. It's rather sinister.

God do you all remember when we thought Chesheric was as bad as it could get! He's not as **** y anymore thank god. At least Chesh had some valid arguments and was a good debator - Jamez just seems to insult (albeit some things he says or fine). Whatev.

I don't really think we need to go down this track again - it's just pathetic we have to watch a couple of idiots insulting each other. As I said, I'd rather they did it via PM and spare us the comedy.

You lot have implied that being gay is an insult! (it was not meant as one)

If someone said to me 'Oi - you straight person!', I'd smile politely and think of it as a massive compliment.

Most of you think I have some terrible hatred towards gay people - no I don't!

I do however, have a terrible hatred of whinging little imps like the people who have posted in this topic!!!

I'm suprised Asa has let this topic run for so long, as it is clearly nothing but a huge one sided war and i see it as nothing more than a huge kick in the b*llocks!
