Bias News Reporting

I watched in almost utter disbelief the news last night on BBC1.

Ragei Omar was with the evil Taleban in Afghanistan and was saying how bad America was and the damage it was causing to them.

It makes me wonder who's side the BBC is on - The American/British alliance, or the cave dwelling Taleban.

BBC = B in Ladens B est C hums?

Get over your anti BBC attitude, no one likes it, and it makes you seem immature and stupid.

We know you dont like BBC, but that doesnt give you an excuse to insult those who disagree with you.

So drop the attitude and stop going on about how you hate the BBC, we know allready!!!

I don't dislike the BBC - its just they need constructive critisism. I know this is an incredibly BBC-arselicking forum, but there we go!

do you suggest BBC News only report the war news with a 'america and the uk are gods' and the 'taliban are evil'

News is about reporting the news you want to hear, and the news you dont...

And Jamez, the attitude i was refering to was not just from this one post, its from every post you make about bbc.

Enough is enough, we dont need to hear your comments on the BBC over and over, some people like the bbc, others dont, that is no excuse for arguments about what people think.

As far as I can see Jamez, you only use this thread as a promotion for your website, and your anti bbc notes. I like your valid comments on the beeb at times, but most of the time, well... you and I both know.

People simply laugh when they see people behaving in this way, especially when considering what the argument is about.

Can we please move away from the need for a policed forum towards a decent bit of fun and discussion ?

Oh such humour. You can't just wait until this thread closes normally can you? You have to have a go at everyone because of a couple of people's comments at you.

In this case, I think both Martin's and Jamez comments were well out. Jamez, you made a relevant comment which can happily be talked about on this forum but your replies, especially your most recent was nothing short of rude. Martin, you gave an unbelievably rash reply which wasn't necessary.

Now if I was responding this this post normally, I would echo the fact that how can the BBC be seen to be biased when they are promoting both the US / our government and the Taliban at the same time.

But as this has simply generated into a slagging match, I'll close it.
