Well Folks, as I am Part of the BFBS Team here at BFBS Northern Ireland, I think I Should tell you all about BFBS Coming to Sky.

If you all Don't Already know what BFBS is, Basicly It's the Radio Station for the Forces. But in Northern Ireland we are sort of Community Radio. BFBS Radio Broadcasts from England at Chalfont Grove, Buckinghamshire.

It will be Launching on Sky Channel 0184 on the 4th December, with a mixture of Shows from the UK & Abroad. 2 Shows will be coming from here in Northern Ireland, Chris Pearson's 'Friday dance' & Eddie Castle's new show 'Club Chill'.

Hope you all Listen in! Enjoy!

Jonny.

Just to be picky, BFBS is not the radio station for the forces, it's the company behind all the radio and TV stations for the forces (Eg BFBS 1, BFBS Radio 1, ect).

Am I right in my thinking that there's a countdown of the full top 40 singles on BFBS radio that plays them in full?

If so, it may serve at least one use with it coming to Sky.

Sorry if I've missed something here, but recently i've noticed a few channels giving their Sky EPG number as 0***. What's with adding the zero at the start lately?

Radio channels are 4 digit and start with an 0.
