Just found it on another site http://www.chortle.co.uk/news/2007/11/09/6020/bewitched_gets_uk_remake
To be honest, I really don't know what to make of that. Just trying to 'visualise' it my head and can't. Dunno, I’ll have to until it’s done. I have a few cast choices I’d like in my head already though.

It will be interesting to see if they go for a direct pick-up of the original format or if they modernise it in some way; similar to Sabrina the Teenage Witch, would it be British or American.

Logically I think it will be a 'remake' with same basic premise. Man living with/married to women who's a witch and her magic and 'magically' family cause endless problems. But will have a modern day 'British' setting.
That's what I'm assuming.

My fantasy choices would be Bille Piper & Ralph Little, but it’s only at the rumour stage at this point. I'll be ready to judge if and when it does happen.

With the 'Evil' mother in law, and 'Dotty' Aunt, it seems as though it could work with our humour.
I only hope the "Darrin" character is not a comedian, but a straight guy who finds it hard to cope with the magical antics.
Also a group of unknowns would be good, and perhaps not try too hard to get the laughs, like My Hero or My Family does. its SITCOM, the way the characters cope in the Situation should be funny, not the characters themselves.
