I've recently been reminicsing on 1980s TV programmes. My favourites have got to be The A-Team, The Fall Guy, and The Young Ones.

I'd be really interested to find out what other peoples' favourite television shows of the 80s are..???

I found some more of mine here.. 1980stv.50webs.com

Thanks, Dave

For me it has to be Treasure Hunt! I do wish they'd repeat them again.

Hitman and Her of course. Not nearly as good as Waccaday Wink

Seriously, I think the sublime Knightmare was the best kids' show of the 1980s-- way ahead of its time.

Dempsey and Makepeace, very stylish action police service from the mid 80s, very good indeed, Duty Free, Rainbow, the 80s was a good era for telly, as was broadcast in general.

Was Sapphire and Steel 70's or 80's? I loved that show and Hart to Hart.

Sapphire and Steel ran from 1979-1982 - so it is more 80s.

and then there is the Professionals. And Happy Days and Minder and going back too far for this thread The Sweeney.

* sighs* they don't do TV like they used to.

Two children's favourites of mine Rentaghost ( which although started mid 70s went right on until 1984 ) and The Adventure Game. Gronda gronda!
