Darren Meldum's site, the MHP,hasn't been updated for ages! A good site, but now out of date. Shame....

I'll have to add to this discussion...

Personally I adore TV-Ark, currently mid re-launch, updating all of their video sequences in RealVideo 8.5 (potentially a lost cause)

I am jealous of the design concepts behind TV Home & The TV Room.

I was introduced to this ring of TV presentation web sites by Andrew Bowden's Tyne Tees Logo Page, which stil to this day is the most comprehensive web site on a single TV station.

Also, for history quality, Transdiffusion continue to cut the mould with excellent historical conent, and a growing number of member sites to its own ring.

Overall, the issues raised in Andrew Wiseman's 625 Television Room, plus the journalistic qualities behind the issues do it for me.

Wish there was a similar page about the chevron (YTV)!

And guys, try Yahoo Geocities.

But Geocities only offers 15MB per server, so Asa will need to apply for like 10 servers... But yeah, Geocities's quite good.

I think Hypermart are the best webserver...except their ads are rather annoying.

I could say the same about Ezboard! (I have a board on Ezboard, but annoying popup ads appear all the time, just 'cos I'm not a CSC member - i.e. with CSC, you're paying fees for no ads) Asa would be able to avoid the ads by paying a fee, if they have anything similar to Ezboard's CSC system!

I saw TV Ark first, and was annoyed because my Real Player did not work then!
I thought the best site was Java TV,but now all there is is just:a white screen.
APFS I suppose is good,too.
Unfortunatly,'The Best sites' as everyone says (MHP,625 Room, etc) have not been updated for a while, and you start to get bored of this.
Shame........
(BTW all websites mentioned are clickable)

And to make that obvious, I've tweaked it to display websites in underlined blue.

Cheers, Asa

Try not to get your hopes up too much. Looking at the source code shows it's just a blank frame inserted by Clicknames.

It would be good to have it back though!

Ahem, does anyone like my site? Confused
Yes, except thanks to that forum redirecting to a different url, my browser thinks it's a chatroom - thanks to my college, I can't access the forum.
You can bypass the sub domain we use for our forum ( www.forum.mediabullet.co.uk ), by going to http://www.mediafamily.co.uk/cgi-bin/chat/default.asp - hope this helps you.

Not so. If you go to www.java-tv.co.uk,you get, yes,a white screen. And www.java-tv.co.uk/whatif.html (A subpage) also,is the white screen. But http://www.java-tv.co.uk/blahblahblahblahthisismadeupbybillyhicks.html also,is a white screen.
Ah well...

It's not just a white screen - in fact it's nothing. The Clicknames HTML ref points to '' - ie no page at all.
