So why is NBCi closing down? They only renamed themselves to NBCi from Xoom just over a year ago.
I suppose NBC dosent want to be accociated with a webs host no one can connect to, and has the most ugly ad banner, and..and...and......
I've said enough.

Sorry, I should have been a bit clearer. NBCi itself isn't shutting - but from the email I saw today it appears that they are going to close their file storage areas and web accounts.
The email stressed that everyone should back up their files to harddrive/other web-space/floppies(!!!) as the above services may well be inaccessible after July 15th.
So don't feel too bad, Asa! It looks as though we're all going to be in the same boat...
Best TV Presentation site. Well I've just decided that my site TV once open I am going to have loads of TV idents etc.
Not just this but Reviews, listings etc. (Live Chat Rooms)
Well. And before I go I would like to thank this so called E4 for stealing my images on my site that were hidden. But I really don't care cause u've sort of motivated me and am coming up with some of my best work now. Just try http://www.hedgehogonline.com and http://tv.hedgehogonline.com in a few days to see.
NBCi as a company was a disaster, they were losing lots of money, even when the times were better. Earlier this year GE (parent of NBC) decided to buy the 70% they didn´t controlled and decided to discontinue a lot of the services. CNBC.com for example, is going to be a part of msn.com.

I think it's going to be the other way around: MSN Money Central is going to be a part of CNBC.com

Continuing to scale back its exposure to the Internet, NBC said yesterday that it would merge its CNBC.com site into the personal finance area of Microsoft's MSN site.
Last month, NBC said it would buy back the public shares of its money- loosing Internet portal NBCi, substantially scale back the site and lay off most of its 350 employees.

The president of NBC's Internet unit, Martin Yudkovitz, said he thought financial information had a bright future on the Internet and that this deal did not represent the sort of full retreat being made from NBCi. 'We've learned what works,' he said. 'NBCi had heavy expenses and the results were disappointing. MSNBC, from an economic-quality and market-leadership point of view, has been very good.'
Unlike the MSNBC arrangement, the CNBC deal does not give Microsoft a stake in the cable channel. Rather, Microsoft will rename MSN's MoneyCentral Web site CNBC MoneyCentral and to incorporate some CNBC content. Microsoft will sell most of the advertising.
Yes I love your site, how about updating the TV Themes section??
The New look is great by the way, its far easier to move around now, and it works ok with my 800x600 screen!

Ahem, does anyone like my site?
Yes, except thanks to that forum redirecting to a different url, my browser thinks it's a chatroom - thanks to my college, I can't access the forum. As for NBCi, they didn't change their name from Xoom - they took Xoom over. And guys, try Yahoo Geocities.
Okay, back to the main topic of the thread. I like TV Ark, TV World, TV Home (of course!), TV Room and Round The Regions. (And Mark Snowdon, I quite like TV Archive too.) And too bad Java isn't around anymore. (But now we have APFS.) I kinda have a slight lineancy towards RTR and TV Room because I'm fascinated by TV news. But all of the mentioned sites are really good. (Just so you know, those sites weren't arranged in any apparent order.)
And Andrew Wood, thanks for linking to TV Vancouver! Your site's great!
