Since when has News 24 had idents? (Idents are NOT opening titles)

I have also voted for BBC Two (pre November 2001) idents, which are sorely missed. May they rest in peace.

It's PLAYuk for me, very modern and striking pink/white or blue/white action...

As you know that most people don't like the new idents for BBC Two (from reading other threads), why did you not put two options for BBC Two, one pre and one post change??
