last night's on CH4 was a classic IMO. The one where Homer gets Apu fired.

Afew episodes from the new series airing in America right now have been the best in years (including one with the longest opening couch gag ever - it goes on for well over a minute!) Admittedly though most are still p*ss poor - but they occasionally show they still have the knack to be the funniest show ever. Plus there's the one written by Ricky Gervais which sounds promising. Even Matt Greoning himself says the episode is amazing and wants him to do more. So Ricky Gervais could possibly go down in history as the man who saved 'The Simpsons'
The one where Homer goes to Rock and Roll camp which is run by Mick Jagger, Lenny Kravitz, Keith Richards, Elvis Costello etc. Some of the best quotes have come from that episode
