Oh, yes. Television Presenters are a lot more imformal these days. Not like in the days before colour, when one would sit up stiffly and speak contritely.
BBC presenters seem to be far more conservative than their ITN peers. I feel, the Queens choice, would be the BBC. They are far more inline with her thinking.
For presenting, I much prefer the informality of the ITN newscasters.

You said you wanted to talk about Television Presenters, yet all you can say is 'Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'. Gosh, you need to take a rest, me laddie !!! Calm down, it must be all those teenage hormones. No wonder, your not able to express your love for Anna Ford. That must be the problem. I'm here if you want to talk.
I'm 28 btw, so I passed the hormones stage way before you !!!
Like I said, I much prefer ITN newscasters, they are less 'formal' in their approach to presenting the news, therefore people identify with them more. They are not just a face delivering the news, which is more than often, bad.
I ask you a question, do you prefer male or female presenters? I respected Jill Dando enormously, but I especially respected Helen Rollason, she moved forward into a male dominated area. I used to watch her when I was younger on Newsround.

Oh yes, I really liked Helen and I used to watch her on Newsround as well. She was a really nice, warm genuine person and I cried when they showed that programme about her after her sad death.
