Funny, when the BBC logo changed in '97 I thought it was crap. But like many have said, it has really grown on me. I can't see the BBC changing their current logo now. Their logo is everywear, CDs, videos, mags etc.

I think Channel 4 should restore the colour 4 breaking up and joining itself together-again logos...they look so modern, even today...despite the fact they were made 19 years ago...maybe they should introduce different animations/variations to the way it joins together/breaks apart
I'm not sure about the 'bricks 4' logo looking still modern today but maybe if they made it a coloured background a bit like the ones used today, maybe with the animation of the bricks flying in but into the current '4' box might work!

I agree with Asa. I don't see that old C4 logo being modern. It might with the brick style, but without the colour. hmmm, maybe. It might be cool having loads of different logos and animations, just like ITV Central (how gone) use to have.
I hate that YTV chevron, it's been there as long as I can remember, and never ever changes. Apart from when it rotated, and was gold. It's been with me my whole life, I just long for the day that YTV do something different.
Yes, the liquid gold effect wasn't bad, but why didn't they ever change that 5 note Ilkley Moor Baht' At theme. It makes my skin crawl, in fact I've started a new topic, YTV Chevron - Is this the worst TV logo ?

Yeah, sorry about that. The site will be up soon, I'm still working on it, but trust me, it will be pretty special! There was a preview site, but it had to be taken down for legal reasons (someone kicked up a fuss because I used something that they had alledgedly designed or something)
