How about Rogers returning to his Newsround roots with a youth show on Sky

Yeah but Newsroom is shown at 5am so it can be recorded by teachers and shown in schools.
I don't think Sky would bother really.

Didn't Chris Rogers present a programme for young people during the Election?

I write for a newspaper for young people aged 8 - 13 which is supported by the government and sent to 700,000 students in schools around the country and from what I gather there does seem to be a demand for a programme more for them - more than Newsround does every day. Maybe the extended Newsround's on BBC Three/Four Daytime (if it ever does come) will cater for this...
