IF ITN do submit it, they'll have to give a completly different look. Anyway, from what I saw on the ITN website ITN Website , they are giving Channel 4 News a new look in the New Year.

I saw it on a page looking for help. I was trying to look for it earlier, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, I hope they don't relaunch, because it is superb.

I actually live right on a boundary between Carlton/LWT and Meridian and on a clear day I can get good Anglia... I have to say that of the three available reg news shows (Mer Toni, Lon Toni & Ang N@6) that Anglia's is my favourite, but I can't put my finger on why...

i think central news at six (west) is the best of the itv regional news' i have seen - though i agree its not as good as it was. the mid 90's set and titles, especially the music, (not the previos set - the one before (with the central cake logo everywhere)).
all is not lost for central - they still have the team (jo, bob, lewella and bob hall with the sport) - just the studio is not as great as it was- as they were evicted by CITV.
oh and another thing - is it just central news that only runs from 6.00 to 6.18 - oh and that includes the advert break! - the rest of the time is filled by the weather and travel . was it always like that? or did i just notice it?
oh - and i think bbc midlands today is almost dead - it all went down hill when alan towers left - it has become THE worst effort i have ever seen in local news (even worse than granada tonight) - nick owen isnt suited to the job (the puns and old jokes have become tiring) - and alison marsh on the sport makes me cringe with embarresment (she aint got a clue wat shes talking about) - oh and why is 1/2 the studio never used????
