Best ITV Regional News music

I didn't want to do a poll on this, simply because I couldn't be bothered but which - in your opinion - is the best ITV Regional News music?

I have to go with Calendar in YTV Region. I've heard loads of other regions but I don't like them!

Calendar News - from TV World - In Real Video

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Central News West is my favourite! I also think London Tonight's music is pretty good. I reckon Central South has the worst music (my own region), even if the programme itself if really good!

Well I normally wouldn't reply to such a thread because I don't normally get ITV, but now I'm here in London on holiday I can happily say that London Tonight (is the LWT version any different from the Carlton one?) has fantastic music, and as soon as I get back home I intend to capture it as a sound file.

I will now revert the topic of this thread for a few moments...what ITV Region do you get in Oxford?

I liked the original 'London Tonight' theme - the one in the 'London Weekend Tonight' era.

Calendar current theme is great. Asa had it on the download section.
In the north, we have Calendar news, which is good theme, and Look North whih has fantastic presenters!

Oxford receives Carlton Central region. It's in the Central News South sub-region which is transmitted from Abingdon

The 1998 Central News theme was really great. I also liked the previous two Meridian News themes; they were short but sweet.

I DEFINATELY agree on the current Meridian News titles being awful. They changed the pitch and wrecked it. It sounds like a load of screeching. The old ones sounded good.

I cannot believe so many of you like the Calendar music! It sounds like the theme to some dodgy Channel 5 quiz show!

I love the Anglia Weather jingle! It's so catchy I found myself humming it to myself and its better than the loud and brash Carlton Weather tune - LWT Weather is slightly better but Anglia Weather rules!

PS. Does any other region have Airwatch? I wouldve thought London would need it more with the smog risks.

You better run a way! Lol! The Calendar music is great! Better than the s**t some of the others produce. Not mentioning no names.
