Yes, I really like the whole 'converted warehouse' look. Presumably very cheap to buy, so they were able to plough more money into building a very impressive studio.

Out of interest, what happens on MSNBC live? Is it mainly desk-based, like the coverage this weekend, or is it usually much more mobile, with presenters moving around the newsroom/studio. And do they always dress as casually as Ashleigh Banfield in some of those screenshots?!

Very Happy LOL, yeah! I'm not in love with her like some of the people in that club, but she is one damn fine news presenter…did u see her during these terrorist attacks…I don't mean to demean what happened, but she has a real shot for an emmy

In terms of appearance, I'd say that the News 24 studio is head and shoulders above the rest.

Originally, when MSNBC Live launched in january, the presenters usually stood up and walked around, but now the presenters are sat down…
the schedule is MSNBC Live 10.00-1.00 pm with Gregg Jarret and Chris Janseng (they sit down at a desk)
MSNBC LIVE 10.00-3.00 pm with Rick Sanchez (he's sat down in the main news desk)
There were news updates during the 'Mitch Albom Show' (it's really a very bad radio simulcast thing) entitled MSNBC Live…

But with these terrorist attacks, all of their normal programming as been switched to 'America on Alert'…after this somewhat 'dies down' (not very sensitive I know) major changes to their schedule will probably happen again.

Mind you, don't the BBC do well when it comes to making studios for general election coverage?

The CNN Atlanata studio is unrivalled. There's a new area with a plasma screen now as well.

Some images from CNN Centre, or Center - whichever you prefer.

The area with the plasma screen isn't a new area as such, it's an area to the right of the desk, they've just stuck a big screen in there.

Outside current affairs programmes, what studio designs do people like?

Sorry to get off your question Katherine, but I thought I'd post these:

Ms Dhue was a frequent fill-in on Paula Zahn's old FNC show (she left last week for CNN)

Sorry, but I don't like the CNN or MSNBC studios. They try to be too showbiz, too glitzy, too superficial, not very 'newsy'.

No-ones mention ITN news chanenls set! They use the studio which was used for ITV news from 1995-1999.
