I quite like the NEWS 24 studio. If I had sky then it would be the Sky news studio, but the last time I saw that was like 2 years ago, so I can't really remember what it looks like and it's had a facelift!
I'm expecting big things from the new look Sky News studio, but it has to be either CNN US (Atlanta) or MSNBC.

I found some of these screengrabs from MSNBC on the web…there are a lot, I hope they work, most of them are from the election mess entitled Decision 2000 and MSNBC Live, around the beginning of 2001 -- the presenter is Ashleigh Banfield
The MSNBC studio is certainly the most interesting of all the networks, but some of the shots they use don't really do it justice - ie the presenter up against that blue map background/brick wall etc, so you can't see anything else.
Thanks for the screengrabs, Alek - that has to be the comfiest comfy area I've ever seen!
Of the UK channels, I think News 24 has the best studio...at the moment. In general, though, I think CNN US is the classiest - nice colour scheme, and lots of action in the background.

Whats the story with MSNBC?? Where does it broadcast and my does it have 'MS' on the front of NBC.
It was (and presumably still is!) a joint venture between Microsoft (hence the MS) and NBC, to provide a tv news channel and internet news service to rival CNN.
As far as I'm aware, its studios are in Syracuse, New York, and it broadcasts to the US on cable and satellite.
I like the BBC news 24 studio but i think that someone needs to orginise those computers out the back, there all messed up, they should be generic too, and the presenters should be together with a board behind each end with a picture of the story and the BBC news 24 thing and URL. The sports, business, weather and others should be possitioned of to the sides of these, or in a confy area with a plasma screen.

Yeah, it's still a Microsoft NBC joint-venture -- it's tv headquarters/studios are in Fort Lee, New Jersey, right across the river from Manhattan, near the Lincoln Tunnel I think…ironically, the studio used to be a cat food warehouse or something!
