One thing I recall from Telly Tots is how they used to run the credits from both the featured shows, at the end of the strand (as shown here).
Interesting that they went to the bother considering how the credits for the ‘grown up’ would be routinely squashed or shortened, or just played on the video wall in the background during various eras.

I suppose you also have to factor in the Summer Mornings idents. In which case, even more were produced! Not that I have seen them well represented on YouTube. Nor the Summer Morning idents when Central assumed control in 1991, almost forgotten on t'internet, unless someone has some quality captures of these.

Am I right in thinking Thames played a cartoon at the end of Friday’s CITV in 1992 in order to fill in five minutes before the handover to LWT? I assume H&A had moved to 6pm, and LWT showed a programme from 5.15-5.40?

Yes for a while they did, I think they moved H&A to 6 and had their regional news at 5:15. Seems odd as in 1993 when London Tonight launched they scheduled them the other way round, but it did mean that H&A was on at the same time every day for once
Therefore the last link wasn't seen in London:
