Benidorm

I'm actually more hopeful about Benidorm's performance.

Very funny first episode tonight. I really enjoyed it, especially 'Mel' the old man!

First episode and already, one person is unconscious, one person is choking, and the ghost of one night stand hell.

Excellent start

Yes - really refreshing comedy! I never watched any of the 1st series but tonight's opener was comedy genius! Really good programme - as was Teenage Kicks which followed it! Deserves to do a lot better than either Moving Wallpaper or Echo Beach which were both forgetable shows!

Make sure you see the first series then - it was bloody hilarious! tonight's opener was great, I just wanted it to continue. I'm pleased they'e got the whole cast back again too.

6.5 million last night. Amazing ratings. Well up on anything it got last year and made it the comfortable slot winner.

Very good ratings, the constant promotion helped then. First time i watched Benidorm and i really enjoyed it. I wish i watched the first series last year!
