I doubt people watch either show for the host Ben isn't the most engaging host.
I'm sure a similar thing happened last year with Dermot O'Leary he was on The X Factor and 1 vs 100 at the same time.

I notice next week Ben Shepard will be hosting 1 vs 100 on BBC1, and at almost the exact same time slot be hosting Who Dares Sings on ITV1!
Bit of a strange scheduling decision by either the BBC or ITV there

Definitely happened last year with Dermot, and I'm sure it's happened quite frequently before too. Has anyone managed three channels at once though?
Agree though it's an odd scheduling decision. I suppose we're into ITV's summer season now with Saturday night programmes that'll be lucky to make it past week 3 and another record low set of Saturday night ratings. This show in particular is virtually a carbon copy of the one JK and Joel did last year for ITV

I remember about ten years ago when Carol Vorderman appeared on all five terrestrial channels in one day-- not sure if any of those appearances were simultaneous though?

Though equally Carol has been very loyal to Countdown. She could easily have decided she was "too big" for it a couple of years ago - but didn't - though I'm sure her employers on other shows would have liked her to have stopped it.

What happened to Carol Vorderman's career? I bet she's glad now she didn't give up the day job a few years back.

Dermot can at the moment be regularly seen on Sky News around lunchtime at the same time as he's on Challenge in a repeat of Eggheads.
On occasion Mark Lamar can be seen on Dave and on TMF presenting two entirely different episodes of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, curiously enough never with the same set of guest presenters I've noticed.
On a similar note, when the American Who's Line and the British Who's Line end up going against each other (Dave and Five US as well as their timeshifts) the common performers can be seen on both networks.
I'm sure Vernon Kay's been seen on TV and heard on radio at the same time back in the day when he was active on T4.
