Beeb reruns THIRTY YEARS of Top of the Pops.

The episode for 6th May is being broadcast next Thursday according to Radio Times. It is a good idea but I hope they don't run it for the next 30 years, the novelty will have worn off by Christmas. They'd be better doing 'series' every few months and picking a different year each time.

There are a few weeks where the TOTP episode from 1976 is "missing believed wiped", so there may not be a repeat every week on BBC Four.

The first week this applies is at the start of July, so repeats may get back into sync as "this week 35 years ago" then.
