Beeb gone down again?

Is it just me or is BBC ONE and TWO completely off air at the moment?

They just went onto the grey fuzzy screen for about 4 minutes then both returned and gradually the reception improved.

Itv and channel 4 went down a few miutes after bbc came back, it seems to happen quite often round here and I think it is the transmitter.

Being as though your on Granada, I presume you receive from Winter Hill. (The only main transmitter that broadcasts Granada.)

Being as though more than one network went, that does suggest that the transmitter was up to something. You might find that they are doing preventative maintanence ready for the winter as its VERY cold up those transmitters trying to fix those arrays!

A quick check of the BBC Reception webpage shows that Winter Hill is liable to interruption and liable to reduced power until the 31/07. So you won't have that misery for much longer.
