Yes, should be in Media Websites I guess but it does relate to TV too.
I notice in a very interesting press release
http://open.bbc.co.uk/reboot/here that the BBC has a new "Find, Play and Share" idea.
'Find' being the publication of information about the BBC catalogue of programmes since 1937 here. (It promises to be online "tomorrow" with the press release dated the 25th April.)
'Play' incorporates the 'MyBBCPlayer' which will now be known as the slightly more sensible 'BBC iPlayer' - interestingly it states that they hope eventually the service will allow us to move programmes to our TVs and mobile's to watch at a later date. Always planned but not announced so publically?
Finally 'Share' is all about creating the next generation of the BBC website and beyond - sharing not only views about the BBC but about anything and much more. A competition has been launched here to redesign the bbc.co.uk frontpage and indeed welcomes exploitation of "Flickr, YouTube, Technorati and Wikipedia".

Right that's the press release re-written - some positive steps forward, certainly with the news that iPlayer will be ported to other applications and the new BBC website designed by users could well lead to some interesting ideas coming forward.
After all, it's all thanks to the unique way the BBC is funded.
