The one that was along the lines of

It's only because of the unique way we're funded . . . etc

Google doesn't want to tell me.

you make it what it is?

Thanks but no.
It specifically mentioned the way it was funded.

Its gist was:
It's only because of the unique way that we're funded that we can do what we do.

But I'd like the exact wording.

it wasn't so much of a slogan, more a common sentence used that change depending on the context of the advert in question.

look up perfect day on youtube, that'll show you

Don't they still use that slogan now? I know they also have the "This is what we do" current set but im sure you still have the "Unique way were funded" pop up every now and then.

Something something something because of the unique way it's funded... by you.

I believe it's sort of like that.

Good Youtube tip.

Goosepimple-tastic!

Cannot believe it's about 10 years ago.

“This is only possible thanks to the unique way the BBC is paid for by you.”

Ah you beat me.

I specifically remember it because every time Chris Moyles went through a spell of using the phrase every time something went wrong... Very Happy

I think I've still got a recording of the Perfect Day video, from when it was aired once on BBC TWO and probably also the TOTP showing (as a charity single), on VHS somewhere.

Top vid and music, and I feel it was a lot more captivating than the current 'This is what we do' campaign.

The BBC. Television and radio at its best.

Jeremy Clarkson likes using that phrase even today when things go wrong or generally look cheap on Top Gear. Laughing
