I've not kept upto date on this, but there was a plan for all weathers to be recorded in the weather centre for N24 (like what happens for World).  Although Everton & Jay (and others) are properly trained forecasters, they have not got live TV experience yet and therefore why they have not been seen before on N24 or PSTV.

Are all the BBC World Weather forecasts pre-recorded? If so, I never knew that, I always thought they were live. Everton Fox has made an appearence once on News 24, overnight as well. Its definitely within the last 6 months, as I saw him after The World Today.

Everton Fox scares me a little. He seems to have a really high pitched voice for such a big man (big as in NOT fat).

Jay Wynne though seems very relaxed.

And Victoria Good (?)... mmm...

I don't think I've ever seen any weather presenter on the BBC who is anything but caucasian, but Sunday night and this evening I noticed this gentleman presenting the weather on News 24.

When you say Sunday night do you mean the time shown on the image? Because he was on at about 5-7 on Sun night too as Elizabeth Sharry went off early, he covered and was taken over by Carol whatsherlast name (the Scottish one!) at 7pm when Chris and Anna took over!

No, that was captured at 0.28 this morning (tuesday).

Lukwesa also does the weather on BBC Midlands Today (East) from Nottingham too.

It makes sense now, if she does BBC Radio Lincolnshire and Linc's local BBC TV too.

Yes BBC World weather is recorded, I presume it takes more time to collate the details for the World weather, hence the reason why it is recorded.

Yes harshy, when I was in Thailand last year I watched BBC World and when I saw the weather, suspicions clouded my mind whether it was pre-recorded it or not, as it did not seem very live at all to me! Smile

How long has Jay Wayne worked with the BBC? Do we know?
