However on the mini-screen function you can't seem to be able to select a feed. Hopefully this will be rectified soon Smile

Sorry if I insult your intelligence but, you have used the arrow buttons on your remote right?

NTL have had the bridge for sometime and frankly I have to say that NTL's version looks better, though it is not transparent, it is not filled with junk either, but then again you can only access it on BBC One and BBC Two. Though I wouldn't mind seeing what the new BBCi looks like, I have seen the bridge several times.

BTW I pressed red earlier on BBC One and for an eTV option, you could have something like "Best Black Footballer" and it was showing some clips and a way to vote for your favourtie. Now this is news to me, I can't remember any programme going out like that, I assume that Sky are getting the same too?

Well, pressing UP and DOWN moves the selection over the 2 different boxes, so you can hear the audio on them; but you can't seem to be able to enlarge them by pressing anything. Are you supposed to be able to?

Yep, I've noticed this too. Looks better than before, and it's a lot quicker than DSat!

While I'm on, and it kinda seems to fit here, can anyone answer this question...

Why on the radio channels on Sky is there just a blue screen, while on Freeview there is the station logo - which is much better than staring at a blue screen! Surely DSat would have greater capability to show graphics than Freeview?

No, you're not supposed to make them any bigger.

Good point. At least on analogue satellite you could see the picture from a TV station, or read teletext, whilst listening to the radio!

I like the way it darkens the feed you aren't watching. I think they should however have put BBC Parliament on the left and then the news feeds on the right so that BBC Parliament can incorporate the new BBCi Bridge.

Yes they are. Sky viewers are getting the same eTV option, but they can vote through using their Digibox (if the box is connected to a phone line), but Freeview/ DTT viewers can only vote via a premium-rate phone number.

The "Best Black Footballer" eTV option is connected with a football season of programming currently running on BBC Four at the moment.

On the new-look BBCi, I think it's a vast improvement, apart from a few technical problems that I (and many other forumers) have probably noticed.

As long as the rest of the service is re-designed (in the coming months hopefully!) to fit in and look more similar to the version on Sky (particularly in the design, content, functionality and accessibility of the service), then we'll be happy!

Well I can't get into the mutliscreen at the minute. There is no shortcut anywhere.

Now downstairs on the ITVd box the sound doesn't work on one of the stream but on my new Goodmans box upstairs it works but chrashes the box on exit.
