From today's Points of View:

looks like they've dusted off the mothballs from BiP for this week's episode.

That's been the current view for all the episodes of this series of Points of View so far. It seems to be a different location than the last couple of series, definitely more cramped.

I still quite like the BBCi brand for interactive on TV. Sounds better than 'BBC Red Button', but I guess the latter makes more sense to most people.

I guess with improving smart TV apps, in the coming years what can be offered on red button could be matched with what can be offered online. So a unified brand might work better now, than it did then.

But as said BBC Red Button does what it says on the tin.

It was mostly in the play-out areas in Red Bee last time, it's moved to a TVC gallery now.

FYI It was Jeremy birthday when he did that episode too Smile

I also note that they've remixed the theme tune again for this series. I didn't mind the previous synthesized version of the long-running theme without the weird boop-a-de-boop vocals, but this one is really poor - it just doesn't work with the drums or the new ending.

That was the theme for the least series too, well the last batch of 10 at least. I quite like it.

I don't think so, unless my series link missed out an entire series.

3rd April 2011 that theme first aired Smile

The theme was changed to the electronic version when the programme went HD (and finally dropped the 2003 titles which had some really ancient bits in it including the original Ten O'Clock News titles!). However this series it has indeed been rearranged slightly to sound a bit more punchy including more of a beat and the high-pitched end note. The previous version did sound a little bare which is probably why it's been changed slightly.
