Only a subtle difference I know, but I have never taken to the fattened up, sharper hooked 2 from the dreadful (IMO) windows on the world package.

"Windows on the world" always lacked the imagination and charm of what went before it but there was a time when it at least all fit together, with a somewhat classy understatedness about it...

...which unfortunately was never developed further. Instead the campaign regressed into a deeply confused state over its 7 years.

This might be of some interest to you CentralTV - I noticed this subtle discrepancy when rewatching "It Takes Two":

One has to wonder: was an "original-style" tent created, or has it been distorted to resemble the old numeral?

Yeh, it was doctored to fit the It Takes Two title sequence which used the classic shape 2 as the main window/symbol.

It looks more aesthetically pleasing to my eye but that's all a matter of opinion.

Thanks Jonny. I was thinking it might be possible to distort the numeral in "Sunroof" so it would match the current ident set, but the process would most likely be far too complicated for it's own good. Shame as that and Tent match up with the 1997 set quite well.
