Just on bbc.co.uk... and they're actually streaming several programmes in FULL! This hasn't been advertised... so I can only assume it's some kind of unannounced trial for the new iMP.

I haven't had the chance to see all of what they have on offer but this week's episodes of The Apprentice and Never Mind the Buzzcocks are very easily accessible from the BBC2 website.

Enjoy!

UPDATE: They're also offering all the episodes so far of both The Armstrongs and Thin Ice.

I think that came into play when bbc.co.uk/bbctwo relaunched about a month ago, where video streams was to be the central theme. I say this as I have noticed the overhaul of The Apprentice site has seen the full episode, as well as other clips become available.

They do a sort of E4 first-look thing where you can view next week's episode of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, right after it has been shown on BBC Three.

I'm still unsure about this.

On the one hand there is the argument that we pay for the stuff to be made, so why should we pay to download it - but on the otherhand they don't give out the DVDs for free do they - it's accepted that if people want the entire series, they pay for it.

A while back Jana Bennett announced that BBC Two would be the first BBC TV channel to be fully streamed on the web. I think they are still working on the regionalisation technology to ensure only UK IP addresses can do this - but I guess selective programme streaming is a step in that direction.

The Beeb hope to launch their internet player later this year (subject to the new public value / commercial impact tests) - and interestingly Mark Thompson has said the most striking feedback is people want access to more than 7 days worth of "back" content. (Though this is download, not streaming )

Definitely a good service - I've just watched Buzzcocks and it saves me having to watch it late tomorrow night on the television.
I notice the BBC Two DOG is present on these videos as well.

It doesn't cost anything to download though does it, unless you are on PAYG internet connection (and not many people are these days).

I'm registered for the Sky-by-Broadband service (although not used yet) and it seems a good idea seeing as it won't cost me anything!
