I do think it is only a question of time and we will see continuity in vision back on all the major stations!!

I see BBC TWO Northern Ireland have in-vision continuity this evening... for their Ulster Scots night. Runs from 8pm until 10pm and the programmes are linked by one of their familiar continuity voices, the delightful Kerry Turner, in front of an open fire...
Now... that's proper telly!

Well BBC2 have the occasional theme night, such as the one on Bruce Forsythe, which had Brucy sort of doing in-vision continuity between programmes. In-vision works great and adds a great deal, especially around holiday season time, but only if the announcer has a personality and brings something extra to it. And looks OK. In-vision is killed by boring announcers...

Didn't see any of that.
Was it live continuity or pre-records, and did they use Broadcasting House or was it an OB?
I always thought that once BBC TWO NI got under way, that the in-vision continuity as run excellently on BBC CHOICE NI (and implied on one of their closing trailers I thought!) would be gradually re-introduced, it would have worked quite effectively and shown a certain television company not a stone's throw away from Broadcasting House how to execute decent presentation.
Coincidentally, has the much liked Kathy Clugston left BBC NI presentation? I've not heard her on any continuity shifts for a good while now, however she provides the voice for the (awful) TV version of "The Folks on the Hill".

It was pre-recorded at Lissan House in Tyrone - the building which represented Northern Ireland on the Restoration programme.
And yes, I miss Choice NI continuity too - Michael Selby's bright shirts are going to waste out of vision!

Taken a little while to get this online...however, for those who missed it, Kerry's symbol into the special night of programming and her first in-vision link are available now on TV Room.
