This topic may seem pointless but as a fan of BBC2, I have drawn up my own personal Christmas Day schedule.

6.00-8.30am News 24.
8.30am - 11.00am Laurel & Hardy films.
11.00am - 12.00pm The West.
12.00pm - 12.30pm TOTP2.
12.30pm The Simpsons Double Bill.
1.10pm FILM: Casablanca.
2.50pm The Simpsons.
3.10pm FILM: White Christmas.
5.00pm FILM: The Wizard of Oz.
6.40pm The Queens Speech: Repeat from 3.00pm.
6.50pm Mastermind Christmas Special.
7.30pm Some Mothers Do Ave Em Christmas Special. Repeat.
8.00pm The Big Read: Top 10 Christmas Novels.
9.00pm FILM: Pulp Fiction.
11.30pm FILM: Psycho.
1.15am Liquid News.
1.45am Close.

This schedule probably has far too many repeats, but it is an idea and at least a lot of people are catored for. Does anybody else have any ideas?

To LoveTV: Santa Claus?? Is that the dodgy 1984 film starring Duldey Moore, as that is a classic, hope it gets shown this Christmas, as UK Gold showed it endlessly last year.

The schedule's not bad, but do people actually take Love TV seriously or question who writes like this?

I know, I know! It is a little c**p but it is a family movie, thats what I wanted! Plus, I couldn't think of many more! (I know there are loads, but I have forgotten them!)

Don't worry about it, the film has tons of crap effects anyway. Laughing

I know this is about BBC2, but does anybody know what movies ITV1 might show this christmas, star wars episode 1 hasn't been on for a while, this could be a good rival to BBC1's Harry Potter

I wouldn't bother asking anything resembling an intelligent question, Richards.

With the exception of nwtv, who I'll assume got here like me, by accident, this thread appears to be populated by dweebs!

A problem with that schedule - there's no Christmas EastEnders! I'm sure that would have many people writing in to Points of View! Laughing

And they don't have christmas eps of neighbours. They used to i'm sure; But they've been missing them out recently, due to the aussie summer break. Thus why we don't get neighbours over christmas as we would have caught up with them.

And if they did, I doubt they'd carry it twice in the same day as usually, especially an ep in prime time!
