There has just been some sort of breakdown on BBC TWO

As I tuned past, I noticed a programme menu for tonight was on screen in silence for at least 2 minutes

The ident into the next programme featured no announcer

I didn't see it myself, but apparently the wrong programme was played out (Gardeners' World) then there was a hiatus till the correct programme (Seaside Parish) could begin.

Did anyone record it?

Well into Sport Relief and Top Ground Gear Force, they had no trailers, and went to black before a static sunroof, very strange.

And on BBC1 the announcer promoted the rugby over the top of a frozen BBC3 promo instead of a slide

Here's the menu from earlier

Was the seascape image on that slide still or moving?

Going into Top Gear: Ground Force, there was intiially a black screen when the previous programme ended, followed by an announcement over a frozen, silent Sunroof last frame.

Yes I saw that, I think it was something to do with with the simulcasting and that they didn't have time to play out the full ident.

Moving - but no sound till it was just about to disappear when we got a burst of some music.

There was a fault today on BBC1 during The Politics Show which I assume occured in Yorkshire only

After the regional bit, the London bit was in silence for a few minutes only to be interupted by an announcement for The Super League Show followed about a minute later by the ident and announcement for The Super League Show

So by the time TSLS had started, we'd had it introduced 3 times!

Also a fault on the BBC South West edition of the Politics show - problems with the opt meant it started nearly ten minutes late! See the SW England news thread in The Newsroom.

Nice clash there with the word 'Storyville' and the 2! Razz

On a BBC2 related note, I caught the junction into Torchwood last night.

The announcer stopped talking on the 'interference' for once, but does anyone else think that it would be better if the sound sounded like it was being interrupted too?
