So, those of you capture experts, We've got Asa doing Wales Today, itsrobert doing Newsline,

Is anyone who has Sky Digital going to get Reporting Scotland,

And then those of you who don't have digital, but are able to do some capturing, could capture what happens at 6.30pm in the English regions (those regions who show a ident that is!)

I'm waiting to hear the Blade or Powder music over the introduction of Look North and wide-shot of the studio!. I also expect Ian White will be on call to do a live annoucement!

Fantastic.

Do all the Nations instantly go into their programme after the Six? Is there a chance of getting Reporting Scotland? (Do they have headlines first)?

Cheers, Asa

So rain.

Now what? switch back to BBC1?
or safer to stay on BBC2.

Who makes these decisions?

Can anyone who lives in Cambridge or Oxford patches keep an eye out at 1830 and see if there are sub-opts? (Or apologies for lack of them ?)

I would imagine that the regions will all be frantically recording new BBC Two announcements (unless some single headed regions can use their 1525 symbols?) and those that normally use a recorded network announcer will be trying to find a suitable person to voice it!

Wouldn't the BBC already have these announcements lined up - such as 'Now on BBC2, Look East'?

Surely Lorraine Heggessey (Head of BBC One) will want to keep the ratings on BBC One?

I was right! We got: 'Now on BBC2, the news in London and the South East'. It was powder.

On BBC TWO North we got a nice modern 2 - Excalibur complete with www.bbc.co.uk .

Then Ian White (as expected) said 'Across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North Midlands, this is BBC Two with Look North presented by Clare Frisby and Peter Levy'. It was definally live or recorded today.

Then when we went to the wide shot of the studio, the ident was still heard plopping and dripping away as Peter and Clare introduced the programme.

Not with all combinations of presenters - Look East is double headed, and I would expect they would want to announce presenters if at all possible.

The only time there would be a BBC Two symbol used for a Look East bully is for the 1525 summary (and that only has one presenter)

I just heard Southampton's anno and they had a very 'non-network' voice...

They haven't apologised to Oxford viewers, so I guess that the Oxford opt can happen on BBC Two. (This would make sense as both Soton and Oxford are based in Soton and the Oxford transmitter is routinely opted out from Soton for the 1525 and Parly/Thursday features. This must mean that they can split route on Two as well as One - but I suppose that is just switching in So'ton)

BBC TWO North West was powder, but it was live read by Stuart Flinders. It said 'Now on BBC Two, North West Tonight with Gordon Burns'

I've captured that.

Any one got Reporting Scotland?

Did they not mention the presenter by name?
