It looks pretty cool and somewhat sporty with the camera action.

Feels perfect for sport, even more than some of the ones they've been using for sport.

Not up there with the best of the curves, however it is a very interesting and welcome addition - a very good one at that. As stated by others above, it works perfectly for introducing sport-related programmes and it seems that Superunion has still not introduced a crap ident; they've all been decent at worst!

You're right - and it's why I'm not really liking it.

I think it needs a 180 degree rotation within the animation to feel more in keeping with the earlier idents. It just doesn't seem quite right.

You're right - and it's why I'm not really liking it.

I always do a little test and place my finger on the screen where the curve is. It looks wide but the inner curve is in line with the curve of the other idents. I like how the camera moves and we follow the white line. It's like Thought Provoking, Visceral, Offbeat and Gripping where you see the curve, it disappears then reappears.

One of my favourites already and ahead of Maverick.

I hope it won't be any time soon, but I cannot wait to see the montage for these idents. If they fade or morph between them, the transitions will be almost seamless!

I would guess Top Gear as a debut considering it's been featured on the promo.

I’m thinking now that Maverick is definitely appearing before Top Gear.

BBC Two really is putting BBC One to shame in terms of presentation (having said that, anything is putting BBC One to shame in this respect at the moment).

A great new ident for Two this evening to add to the growing portfolio.

I just noticed the sounds in the soundtrack have a sporty feel.
First there's like these sounds of a football being kicked about and then when it comes back to the curve, it sounds like a crowd roar.
I could see this on before the ongoing Women's World Cup. It really fits that kind of programming.
