Is it Christmas?

Not yet....but look out for Christmas. Wink

This actually appeared in the listings on digiguide yesterday:

DOCUMENTARY: Seven Days Christmas Special
On: BBC Scotland
Date: Saturday 8th June 2019 (Already shown)
Time: 19:15 to 20:00 (45 minutes long)

News, sport and entertainment stories.
(Subtitles, Widescreen)

Looks like it was an error in the listings though, but nothing would surprise me, given the numerous occasions in recent years where Christmas programming has appeared during the Summer.

Millions of years ago when I was a kid, Christmas specials would turn up quite often over Summer.

That looks like one of the current idents in shades of green and brown rather than the different shades of blue it is currently?

I have to admit, Maverick does not animate the way I thought it would and it looks nice as a still, but as an actual ident I'm not feeling it.

It looks like test development for the paper 'Captivating' ident.

Maverick is going to be a grower for some people I reckon.

Some images of upcoming idents from the same talk:

My tweet was read out on BBC Four's Eurovision coverage and Rylan Clark-Neal replied to it. That's all.

They sure are pumping these out by the dozen aren't they. Though good on them to be fair, I have nothing but praise to give to these idents. They definitely are a worthy successor to the iconic 90's '2's'.

They're just mesmerising to look at because of the stunning visuals.

Lambie Nairn would be proud that there's a successor to his 2s

Superunion is the same agency Lambie-Nairn was, before Martin Lambie-Nairn left. But I have no idea of the turnover, or if anyone remains from those BBC Two days, 25 years ago.

Still, they've come up with a great successor to the famous 2s
