Have to agree, the BBC One idents look like a poor You Tube attempt compared to BBC Two now.

Basically they ignored any criticism of the "oneness" and buried their head in the sand and said "LA LA LA LA IM NOT LISTENING" while giving out platitudes and rubbish. I had multiple emails and just kept getting the same thing back time and time again until I told them they had won and had ground me down to just give up trying.

She knows full well that the idents have not had a warm reaction (except maybe from herself). Everytime I've seen anybody mention them the whole concept have been mocked mercilessly.

That said, it's a shame to resort to personal insult. Playing the ball, rather than the man always seems to be a better approach.

I would've adapted AxG's logo and try to implement the '1' in idents as the full logo reveals itself, but I guess BBC2's head of marketing are at least a bit more competent. Rolling Eyes

It was used in daytime very early on as well. Very frustrating that they have 16 then use the same 4 or 5 during the evening. Snake one has also disappeared its seems, its just annoying the full set is not used, or there don't know how to class what to use each ident for.

It’s so annoying as people worked on these and their work isn’t being shown, the snake one could be used for drama and I really miss the black & white spiral.

BBC Two Wales HD is now testing on satellite, so if you want to capture BBC Two Wales versions of the idents in HD, now you can.

You can manually tune via Sky's other channels option, or non-Freesat mode using the following parameters:
Frequency: 10847
Polarisation: vertical
DVB-S2 8PSK
Symbol Rate 23000 (or 23 Mbaud)
FEC 3/4
Service ID: 6912 is BBC Two Wales HD.
