I've never ever experienced anyone on a TV presentation forum unable to explain why they don't like an ident.

Then you basically have no reason to dislike the idents? You're entitled to your own opinion but it seems as if you just dislike the new set just for the sake of it.
And I don't need a reason other than I dislike them.

It’s essentially ‘art’ and therefore highly subjective. I don’t particularly like the paint Mrs MM selected for our kitchen, can’t tell you why, but it’s hardly grounds for divorce!

Yep, although ITV ditched that nice little feature a year or so ago
The unique element of this is the melding of trailers and idents together, the whole channel just flows now, perhaps for the first time I can recall on a mainstream service. Bonkers concept in theory but it works.
