I like what they're trying to go for here, but the thing is most channels now don't bother to show the logo. If it doesn't include a logo, it has to at least include elements of the channel's identity (5 going for 5 birds or 5 whatever, 4 going for the "block-man" etc.)
I hope that they decide to ditch the box.

Not really, yet. Oneness could last well into the early 2020s maybe.
They reached an impasse with how far they could take the 2. Personality set was seen as a step down from the 90s set and Window on the World never got expanded beyond its original set. the best that they could do was bringing back presentation from the 90s thanks to cost savings.
Unexpected to most but I’m pretty sure that a rebrand was going to happen at any cost. And it looks nice just from the images teased alone. It’s gutsy and brave of them to kill the 2 off, however sad it may be.
Good news - wish it was for the BBC channel that more urgently needs a rebrand, though (I'm looking at you, BBC Oneness).

Reith will appear on promotions / trails. Credit Squeezes will be Gill as now. BBC TWO logo will remain Avenir.
Looking forward to this, liking the images so far, but Avenir staying? Not even a change to Reith? I wonder if Reith will be used for the promotions, ECPs etc.
