I have to say that I do like that BBC2 are being more adventurous with which idents they use for which types of programme. Wonder was always being used for nature programmes, now it's being used for cricket and works well. Gripping for snooker works well too as did other idents like Charged, Punchy and Escapist.
Wish they'd use more styles for trailers. They use Punchy and Sharp/Irreverent a lot. We've still yet to see Intense used or Thought Provoking get another outing outside of one for a Late Review trailer.

A shame we haven't had some new regular additions but when you have close to 30 idents and use them all the presentation doesn't feel boring.
Considering how many idents BBC 2 have and how good they are, and also how nice their Christmas presentation is, I don't think I'd mind too much if we didn't get anything new this year. BBC 1 on the other hand...
Maybe BBC One will do something similar to their current idents - people doing Christmas stuff on their own? It'll need to either be home filmed like the lockdown Oneness idents, or animated. Reusing any from the last few years is a no-go.

Honestly, I expect channels to go all out this year. I think it’ll be earlier than ever. Similarly we’ll see people decorating earlier than ever. It’s been a miserable year and people want escapism.
