BBC Two 2018 Revamp

There used to be a Sign Zone version of Thought Provoking. Has that been completely dropped now Asa? Ridiculous that Gripping hasn't been used for so long. Northern Ireland have used Gripping and Thought Provoking regularly. Once again they show Network how to do it.

I love the 'Thought Provoking' ident. They probably keep it to limited use so that people like us explode with glee when it is finally used.

The Sign Zone version has actually been seen more recently than the ident itself, but still very rare. From what I can tell Celebratory/Gripping/Punchy/Silly still haven't been shown.

Annoyingly, I have still never yet seen either Thought-Provoking or Gripping on television, and only saw Dark for the first time a few days ago. I'm hoping for an airing of the latter on Wednesday, though...

Silly used to be rare for a long time in primetime, they just used it with kid's programmes for months. Good to see it in primetime.

Thought Provoking on again tonight at 10pm! TWO DAYS IN A ROW!!! I can't process these emotions!!!

Maybe it's finally becoming a regular.

Maybe the idents are seasonally??

There are plenty of the BBC TWO idents that I have not seen on TV either. As gorgeous as they are, there isn't any programming on BBC TWO that I would tune in for. It has a great look, but sadly not the great content that I personally want to watch. The only way I'll see the idents is when they are linked to on here.

It was Maverick at 10.05pm last night according to TV Home? Maybe Thought-Provoking was shown in one of the nations?

On a related note, now that Wales and Northern Ireland are the only BBC2 nations left, is BBC2 in Scotland now exactly the same as what is seen in England, continuity and everything? What happens if they show a trailer for something on BBC1 that is on at a different time in Scotland? I haven't seen any 'and that's except for viewers in Scotland'-type announcements like they used to have in days of old.

They had an extra 5 minute programme at 10pm that was unannounced called The Fall. Weird little programme that they showed again later in the night at 12.40am. Thought Provoking was on just before the 10pm screening.

Some are just on all the time and new ones come along that get shown more than Thought Provoking and Gripping. It's annoying. I've found out that if you want to see them regularly record junctions on BBC2 Northern Ireland if you can.
