Can anyone give me a short list of some of BBC2's "theme nights"? E.g. Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, horror movies, etc? Thanks.

For Starters, (and off the top of my head) we've had..
Monty Python Night
BBC Four launch night, night
Granada night (yes, one night in the 50's Granada shown an evening of BBC programmes - a few years ago BBC2 repaied the complement)
Blue Peter night
Football night
Radio night
One night in TV hell
Radio One night
Dr Who night

Now, my brain is hurting - I'm sure someone else can continue the list..

In a similar vein, they also had ATV Night a while back.

Some of the idents on that page are from themed seasons rather than nights.

The best BBC 2 Theme night ever has to be TV Hell. Closely followed by Weird Night and Radio Night.
