Was it you who asked me. Or someone else? I've had loads of people ask about these and how to make a screensaver of them. I'm trying my hardest to get it done.
I also wonder if anyone has the font for that 1 or will I have to make the 1 myselft.
No mate, 'waldo' asked last time. Now I fancy some of that BBC1 booty on my screen! This is the font you'll need to download: TV Logos.TTF then install it. When designing, simply type '1' and it'll come in that style. Okay! (I can't wait!

I actually
was
15 in 1991! I just wish I was 15 in 1981 (I much preferred the globe that was in use then!)

Lucky you! 1981's ****
though - you obviously prefer the more basic idents.
I don't know if it's any use, but I've uploaded a new page to my website with 24 images of the 1991-97 globe which cover the entire sequence. The address is:

Cheers Rob, those are quality! Only problem is, are they in the right order and how can I make a screensaver out of them?
Oh, and I have to disagree about you addressing them as 'a mess' - they're the best yet!
I think Lambie-Nairn were actually updating that 30-year-old globe as it was getting older and wiser, thus turning into this crystal-bally type reflecting thingy; and that we know the countries on the globe so well, they were reflected vaguely on the backdrop. IMO anyways!

I've just made a slight amendment - and they are definitely now in the right order!
Perhaps I'm being a little harsh calling it a 'mess', it's just I never really understood what all the stuff floating around it was meant to be.
I haven't a clue how you'd made a screensaver of it though, looks far too complicated to me!

Thanks! I've heard of some screensaver programs, so I'm on the case peeps! So, now do you understand the 'Virtual Globe' after reading my explanation?
