I felt that the snowflakes were not bad (but annoying) and from a layman's point of view they were probably "cute".
These probably make good clip sources for those "Before they were famous" TV shows...assuming that the children featured in the ident become famous.

Hmm, I can see their point. They were cute. Though I despise young children. Grr... Childhood is a waste ... of ... time.
Look into my eyes. You are sleepy.

I thought they were really sweet, just compare them with ITV1s "effort"....

I actually thought that they were quite cute.
On the subject of BBC1 idents, I was flicking through channels before I went to bed, and came across some comedy programme on Channel 4 which showed a sketch that was clearly a micky-take of the BBC1 dancy idents with two girls dressed in red leotards and dancing with ribbons at first, before fighting with each other. I've no idea what the programme was, but it made me laugh, anyway.

Has aynoe noticed that on the fabulous Chatterbox (ceefax 591) there have been lots of people saying how they thought the snowflake kids were adorable.
They did work and won me over aswell, they were sweetly done.

Yes, they even won me over. Not because of the cute children but the way it was executed reminded me of the revolving Christmas idents of the 1980s. And not a hint of political correctness. The last few years have seen BBC Christmas idents regain their old magic.
