There was a lil rednose above the subtitles in the style of this:

but without the RND writing, and really small above the subtitles text

I'm in SW England....

Played back the 10:35 ident, there is no Red Nose anywhere on the screen.

Nope! I've looked back as well and there's no RND sign at all.

mmm ok, maybe my imagination gone wild, but im 99.9% sure i saw a lil head behind a red box (realy tiny) by the subtitles, unless it was the interactive button, which i dont think it was.

There has been an interactive button with a red nose in the top right corner. If you saw a red nose, it'll probably be that.

It was funny. I think it was filmed for RND03, maybe just didnt show it. I thought it was quite good for BBC Standards!

Actually, that was played for the second part of RND '03, and the first ident was a different opening to Hip Hop, then Brian Potter came in from nowhere. I'm sure it had the "box" at the time!

No red nose on BBC ONE Scotland TANGO ident... what a boring set of idents. The Balloon was easily reusable across all areas of presentation.

I also thought for a moment that there was a red-nose on the ident, but a quick flick of the back-up button revealed it was definitely the interactive DOG.

I was visting http://www.channel4.com/t4/popworld as you do, and came across something that could possibly have been developed into a Comic Relief BBC ident for Friday night.

http://www.popworld.com/template_classes.php?page=1950540 and click on Part 2 and its about 20 seconds in

The latest in a long line of people to take the mick out of those BBC1 idents!
