Quite nice actually. I like the idea of the giant snowball. Although it would've been nicer to see one with a bit more colour in it.

And for the would be Globe hunters, I do think it's about as close as you're going to get for the next while.

Actually, it is quite nice. Quite down to earth and uncontrived compared to the last few years efforts (and I don't mean that in a bad way, I liked last years creepy one) and the sepia tones make it look quite pretty.

I like the new Christmas ident - very swish.

Bit rubbish I reckon. I'm not enjoying this whole circles theme, it doesn't really work in my eyes.

See, that's where I disagree. I actually liked those idents. They were genuinely Christmassy. This one does absolutely nothing for me I'm afraid.

I agree with you on that point - to me it it feels more like a winter ident than a Christmas one (excluding the music obviously).

But nice.

It's not awful by any means, and I think it's an improvement on last year, but not as nice as those pre-2005, and it isn't a patch on most of what we had pre-2002.

Not sure how much justice a relatively small broadband clip does; I might see it in a more favourable light when it is broadcast, with clearer video and audio.

It's nice of them to put it online, although I personally think this is an idea that has come about too late, as I would've been interested in seeing a greater amount of what are now older idents in their entirety - although most of this probably would have been filed somewhere in the Cult section which is unfortunately no longer updated.

I feel the same really. It could easily be labelled with the word "snow" and be featured on five.

Not enough razamataz when the logo forms. Should be a lot more glitzy.
