BBC1 Christmas 2017 Idents

Looks nice- a lovely rich red colour on the curtain with falling snow. If this is indeed the look of BBC1's Christmas endboards (which would seem highly likely), these will look much nicer than the plain orange ones used last year.

Keep your hopes up, it may get replaced by a new ident package.

I doubt they'd launch a new ident package in January.. last year we only came to know about the Oneness idents so late because that package is cheap, in branding terms: however, I think news about a possible (more) expensive package launching in January would have leaked out already

I wouldn't mind a christmas of Oneness if we could just have good new idents, or the circles back from january

The song is Clean Bandit's Symphony isn't it? Interesting if they use it in their idents.

Non-Christmas pop music (To Love Somebody by the Bee Gees) worked well on the 2014 ident as it had a seasonal re-arrangement. I wonder if that's what they're doing with the Clean Bandit track this year?

I wonder what the ‘O’ in one having what seems to be a frost effect means...

It was frosted last year too so don't think it gives much away. But.... you never know

It means they forgot to add it to the N and the E

I would guess that the "O" is same as last year in that it is where the Christmas graphics burst from before it returns to normal.
