BBC1 Christmas 2017 Idents

Please - Don't (one)mess up the Christmas idents this year (November 2017)

It's early this year. I think it was later last year. They must have realised we all need a good break from Oneness.

Last year was the anomaly wasn't it? Didn't we have a few years before that where it was this early?

In 2012, it was Tuesday, December 11th.
In 2013, it was Saturday , December 7th
In 2014, it was Saturday, December 6th
In 2015, it was Tuesday December 1st and last year it was
Sunday December 4th.

When was the last time they launched new Oneness idents? August or September?

Potentially yes because this was only supposed to be a "campaign" year. It doesn't make sense for it to go beyond a year.

Yeah most of the time it's the second week of December apart from the previous 2 years

A lot of people have been speculating about the Oneness idents not returning after Christmas. I hope you're all right, however I have a suspicion they're going to be around for a while longer. Just a hunch, though.

The idents probably will, yeah. I can see the surrounding pres seeing some Reith related changes to trailers and ECPs though. BBC Two as well.

I doubt it Wicko. January 1st and it'll be back to Oneness.
