BBC1 is Channel Of The Year

In all honesty who cares who wins these awards? They are so meaningless especially when you think what exactly have the major broadcasters really brought us the TV audience over the past 12 months? not much really.

If the BBC wants to brag about it they should just use it as a voice-over before their programmes every now and again. There's no point in wasting money slapping "channel of the year" everywhere .

It costs nothing to fade up a "Channel of the Year" captain over an ident.

It will if you want it to look good, which involves burning it onto an ident.

How confusing is this getting to viewers, I've heard BBC One, I've seen it on ITV2 & BBC Four, why don't they tell us who made them channel of the year, at least GMTV (who started the whole ball rolling i do believe) used to do that.
