I was at Gilfach Goch (Haka) a couple of weeks ago. I found two rugby pitches, but none of them looked anything like the location on the ident. For a start, both were surrounded by grotty looking houses, and one had a windfarm in the background!

I think I spot a windfarm in the background of that one!
So I did find the right one. Well, on the basis of that, I can't understand why they chose that angle (although that shot is quite clever, because off camera to the left theres one BITCH of a hill covered in houses like a Brazilian shanty town.
In the other direction, there's a lovely wooded hillside, which would have made a much nicer backdrop, but seeing as the ident was filmed in mid-autumn, the trees would have looked a bit bare.
Still, it's a strange place to use for an ident. Not only is it in the middle of bloody nowhere surrounded by huge curvy hills (not good for the clutch on your car!), but unless you frame your shot very carefully, you're going to end up with all the crappy houses in it.

Hehe shame - Was down at the Minnack a few weeks ago, and is quite a beautiful place. It's now death velley.
